Overland Kennels was opened in November of 1993 and continues to provide boarding, grooming, pet supplies and Eagle Pet foods. The kennel is located in a quiet country setting eight minutes from the Irwin exit of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The kennel has 20 indoor/outdoor runs, 24 hour supervision, radiant heated floors, skylights and features an Open Kennel Design. The open kennel design (no walls or metal dividers between dogs) greatly reduces the stress a dog experiences when boarded. We continue to have dogs that run and pull to get into the kennel for their vacations!
We also offer Pet Supplies & Eagle Pet Foods: Overland's Waggin' Wheels will deliver to our grooming customers a complete line of pet supplies and Eagle Pet Foods. We will also carry some specialty gift items and fancy, elegant dog collars for our clients. All orders for pet supplies and dog food must be placed one week prior to your grooming appointment to insure delivery.

We have been breeding and showing Siberians since 1990. Our dogs are bred firstly for temperment. We research all pedigrees very carefully. Owners must have a fenced yard or a run of a minimum of 50 feet. My husband Stuart and I got our first Siberian Husky in the fall of 1984. Our love of the breed led us to purchase our first show puppy in 1990. We currently have 10 Siberian Huskies that we breed and show. Our first and foremost concern in our breeding program is to breed genetically healthy dogs. We carefully research all breeding to insure healthy puppies.
Perhaps equally important to us is the dog's temperament. All of our puppies are raised in the house and handled and socialized from birth. They are very used to normal household noises and strangers playing with them. We do not sell any of our puppies until they are 8 weeks of age. Our puppies come with a complete medical record and have been wormed 3 times and will have had their first 2 puppy shots. The buyer is also provided with a five generation pedigree, AKC papers, and a written contract, as well as educational information from the Siberian Husky club of america. Our puppies come with the following guarantees: Show puppies age guaranteed until age 2 1/2 against all common genetic defects. Pet puppies: Refund: 3 Days with Vet Certification. All puppies come back to us if owner is unable to keep the dog at any time during its life, owners are not permitted to take the dog to an animal shelter, sell it to a third party or give it away--it must be returned to us.
We like to tell all of our puppy buyers that there is no such thing as a "DUMB QUESTION" and that we are only a phone call away.
